Webinar on the Completion of U.S. Chemical Weapons Stockpile Destruction

We hosted a joint webinar with the Arms Control Association on September 29, 2023, to celebrate the end of the United States’ chemical weapons stockpile destruction.

We would like to thank Kingston A. Reif, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense; Irene Kornelly, Chair of the Colorado Citizens’ Advisory Commission; and Craig Williams, Co-Chair of the Kentucky Citizens’ Advisory Commission for their highly informative and engaging presentations.

If you were not able to attend, you can watch the recording of the webinar below.
Registration and Planning for CSP-28

We are quickly approaching the holiday season and the annual Conference of the States Parties in The Hague.

This year’s conference will take place from November 27 through December 1, 2023. Those who applied for accreditation should have received an email confirmation of their status, regardless of whether NGOs were accepted or denied. Accredited NGOs are now required to register each attendee individually here.

If you have any questions regarding the registration process, please do not hesitate to let me know.

We are also planning side events and plenary statements for the upcoming conference. If you would like to host a side event, please send me an email with the subject “Interest in Hosting a Side Event at CSP-28” with your name, organization, and a brief description of the side event that you would like to hold. We do not yet have information on the logistics of the side event schedule, but at this point we will make a list of side events and work with hosts to reserve spots as soon as the OPCW releases their schedule.
